Clinical nutritional medicine uses nutrition and nutritional biochemistry as precise clinical tools. It is concerned with how a child's body is functioning at a cellular level - how nutrients are absorbed and utilised, how metabolic pathways are performing, how the immune system is responding, and how all these factors interact with neurological function and behaviour.
