Stella Chadwick founded Brainstorm Health® in 2014 with a commitment to achieving optimum health for children with Autism, ADHD, PANS and PANDAS, as well those with behavioural and learning difficulties and food and chemical sensitivities.
Who is Stella?
Stella is a Registered Nutritional Therapist and Functional Medicine Practitioner.
Her extensive professional training includes a 1st Class BSC Honours (Nutritional Therapy) degree as well a specific training focus on the principles of Functional Medicine – which assesses and addresses the underlying causes of conditions.
Having started her working life in the City (London), she took the decision to change her career when she experienced the frustration of the health service in understanding her own daughter’s nutritional issues.
At the time, her daughter was suffering from multiple food sensitivities and allergies, and having dealt with hospitals, clinicians and specialists – Stella became frustrated with not knowing enough and set about re-training and studying Nutritional Medicine.
Fast forward to today, and she is a CNHC Registered Nutritional Therapist, qualified in Nutritional Genomics – the science of the relationship between genetics, nutrition and health.
She has a special interest in the relationship between the health of the gut and the brain as well as autoimmune conditions such as PANDAS and PANS; and food and chemical sensitivities.
Stella has dedicated much of her personal and professional life to formulating nutritional and biomedical strategies to enhance gut-brain connections and is passionate about helping the children she works with to reach their full potential.
Why you should work with Stella and her team
Stella’s intricate knowledge and experience with children (especially those with ASD) puts her at the leading edge of functional medicine based nutritional therapy.

Stella and her team work closely with parents, offering powerful techniques for implementing dietary and lifestyle changes, which are sustainable, practical and achievable.

Stella regularly writes for the excellent magazine The Autism Eye, holds talks and workshops for parents and practitioners, and works with several organisations and charities including; Thinking Autism, and the Autism Trust.
